Irish Breakfast Tea is a robust and flavorful blend of Assam, Keemun and Ceylon. The combination of these three fine teas produces a malty cup of flavor with a quick energy boost but without the jitters of coffee; the slow release of caffeine sustains alertness and reduces fatigue. Most say it is stronger than our English Breakfast.
The tannins in Irish breakfast tea are known to soothe the intestinal lining and aid digestion.
It’s a suitable choice after meals to alleviate indigestion.
Brewing Instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in water that has come to a rolling boil or nearly boiling (200°F-212°F) for 3-5 minutes.
